Not all the Klingons in The Trouble With Tribbles are from the 23rd century. Thopok is definitely a bumpy-headed, duty-bound, battle-hungry type of Klingon. He is also a tremendous asset to Klingon decks, despite his somewhat narrow skill selection.

The combination of SECURITY and Biology is good against a number of dilemmas (particularly Flaxian Assassin), and useful in solving missions as well (particularly Colony Preparations). Transporter Skill will take care of the Orion Syndicate Bomb, and is vital against any large number of tribbles.

Add to it all a very impressive special download of a Bat’leth. No good Klingon attack deck goes without one (or four or five). With Thopok, you've got extra access to the weapon without spending a card play on it.

Combos:

• Thopok + Bodyguards: Although Thopok was bodyguard to Lady Grilka, you can use him with this incident to protect any of your valuable V.I.P.s or CIVILIANs.
• Thopok + Council of Warriors: Thopok skill's are well-suited to many of the missions you can target with this objective, including A Good Place to Die and Bat’leth Tournament. Then his STRENGTH of 9 and special download make him perfect for what comes next...
