Card Extra Overseer Odo from Evan Lorentz (11/03/2000) |

Odo (DS9)'s malicious mirror version should make a big splash in more than a few decks. Depending on whether you're using Crossover or Emblem of the Alliance, at least three groups can easily include him - Bajorans, Cardassians, and the Klingon/Cardassian Alliance. While the Bajorans aren't especially at a loss for OFFICER, SECURITY, or Leadership, the combination of two personnel types on a single card should never be quickly dismissed. Of course, his two other skills, Computer Skill and Geology, will also be a great help in solving missions. Not to mention that in the Overseer, Bajorans have picked up someone with double-digit STRENGTH who can further boost that attribute through hand weapons (on top of other Bajoran tricks like Shakaar Edon's special skill). The Cardassians get an even better deal. Overseer Odo's skill mix is a better match for the requirements of many of their missions. He's the first Cardassian-affiliation shape-shifter, allowing use of cards like Strike Three and The Guardian. Then of course, there's a killer special download of Process Ore. Being from the mirror universe, it's only natural that the Klingon/Cardassian Aliance gets the best deal of all - all the benefits of his skill mix, his shape-shifter status, and the download, plus the ability to fully take advantage of the Overseer's status as a dual-affiliation personnel. This Odo can set you up to attempt both Bajoran and Cardassian missions, quite convenient since that's exactly what you'll find waiting for you right as you arrive in the Alpha Quadrant via the Bajoran Wormhole.
