Getting someone with a CUNNING > 7 is not terribly difficult in most cases. Getting half of the personnel in a crew or Away Team above that threshold? That can actually prove quite difficult.

Oddly enough, Twisted is one wall dilemma that's not as easy for the so-called "mega Teams" as it is for groups of a more modest size. Often you'll find a large group stopped by it, and forced next attempt to go in without a few of the personnel with lower CUNNING. This gives filtering dilemmas that follow Twisted more of a fighting chance - you may actually be able to filter out the only personnel who has a specific skill when your opponent can't necessarily bring everyone who has that skill along for the attempt.

Rather than juggle their personnel, your opponent might try to boost CUNNING to overcome Twisted. PADDs are one of the better bets for this... in which case Disruptor Overload is a good counter-strategy for you to consider. Or perhaps you can try Boarding Party and have your Kazon take your opponent's PADDs by force (and score some bonus points in the process).

  • Common Thief + Twisted: Here's another way to respond to PADD use and set up Twisted. And if your opponent isn't using any equipment, you can use the Common Thief kill on someone with high CUNNING to help set up Twisted as well.
