This is one of the "don't leave Borg without it" drones. The Tachyon Drone's ability to force other ships to decloak ensures that you'll be able to bring the same destruction to bear on the Klingons and Romulans that you can on the Federation. Since most opponents will be off and running with points before you even arrive in the Alpha Quadrant, seeking out and destroying their ships may be the best way to catch up. And of course, you'll never be able to snatch a Counterpart if your opponent is cloaked. Combos:
