Uncommon card from The Borg (2001) / Uncommon card from First Contact (1997)

The Borg: Phased energy weapons are of limited effectiveness against the Borg. After only a few discharges, a hive is able to modify the personal shields of its drones to absorb any further attacks.

First Contact: Borg quickly adapt countermeasures, such as drone energy shields, to foil any new weapon used against them. Remodulating an energy weapon helps only briefly.
