For a modest set of staffing requirements, the Xepolite Freighter provides you a big 9 RANGE that can speed you along the spaceline. Even its SHIELDS of 7 are not bad. Where the Xepolite Freighter fails a bit is WEAPONS, with only 5, though as long as you aren't planning on battle, it may not be a problem. You can always equip the Freighter with System 5 Disruptors, should your priorities change. Combo:
