Though it offers a massive attack bonus of 5, this Tactic does not boost your defense at all. Some might therefore conclude that this isn't the best choice for a defense-minded battle side deck, but not so fast... in a battle you know you're going to lose anyway, this is exactly the type of card you'd want to try and take one of your opponent's ships with you. Those players sprinkling the Quantum Torpedo into their side decks for damage markers will get a most satisfying result: the crew of the damaged ship will be unable to attempt space missions. Combined with a nasty array of planet dilemmas, you can really slow down a speedy opponent. Combo:
