Card Extra 6th Rule of Acquisition from Neil Kirby (01/27/2000) |

|
The 6th Rule of Acquisition represents Ferenginar's answer to the Friends and Family program. When either get to be a nuisance, trade them - some parents will empathise with that view, trust me! This card is very simple, but can be very handy. Play it on a Ferengi with Greed or Treachery, and then place another Ferengi who names them (or is named by them) beneath the draw deck for "gifts". While this is possible with a number of Ferengi (Quark can get rid of Brunt this way and vice versa) one DaiMon comes to the fore with this card - Lurin of the cool lore. Four members of his crew are "disposable" in this manner, and one of them (Dr. Borts) can be quickly recovered with Assign Mission Specialists - now you see him, now you don't; now you see him...get the picture? The rewards for selling your friends are generous. Two pieces of downloaded equipment offer tons of choices. Latinum for Bribery? A teddy bear (Kukalaka) to make you all Firestorm-proof? (Both of these and more can be used in a nice cargo run for cards or latinum.) Or maybe you want hand weapons to boost your STRENGTH and deal with nasty dilemmas? Your choice. Or would you prefer to download a nice Ferengi ship? The pros here are that it goes to that location, and doesn't have to be universal. So, Quark’s Treasure for its turn of speed, and the B’rel to cloak and hide are both among the options. Or if you can't decide, just draw up to 3 cards - like a Kivas immune to Mirror Image. Handy little card, the 6th Rule. Combos:
