Brunt from Evan Lorentz (10/1999)

Whether he's the Ferengi you love to hate or hate to love, Brunt's a great addition to your Ferengi deck. While his "conventional" mission solving power rests in his Navigation and Computer Skill, Greed and Treachery are not to be ignored by a Ferengi player using missions like Kressari Rendezvous and Market Research. He also has Law (for dilemmas like Framed for Murder and Vendetta) and FCA x2 (meaning he can single-handedly complete an Espionage Mission at Earth).

Then of course there is his seventh (that's right, seventh!) skill, his special download of the Writ of Accountability. Nobody can crack down on lawbreakers like Brunt, F.C.A. Even in the middle of a "forbidden" action your opponent is performing, Brunt can suspend play to download the Writ and end the game.

Combos:

• Brunt + Writ of Accountability x2: Seed one Writ and discard it to download Brunt. Then Brunt can immediately suspend play to download a new copy of the Writ to protect you from a wide variety of nasty deck strategies.
• Brunt + Q’s Tent + Quark’s Isolinear Rods: Although Brunt is most useful in a Ferengi deck, any non-Borg player can stock Brunt in their Q's Tent and go get him if they need a Writ to respond to an opponent's strategy. Quark's Isolinear Rods will guarantee you unrestricted access to the Tent long enough to get him.
