Any new version of the Jadzia Dax (DS9) persona has a lot to live up to these days. Her first three versions were brilliantly executed, with a broad range of necessary skills and classifications for the Federation, the Klingons and the Bajorans. Let me just say that this version is no slouch. Her skills and classification remain very close to her other Federation version, minus the Exobiology and Navigation x2. While this can be misconstrued as having lost something in the translation, it's actually quite the opposite! In other words, she gave a little but gained a lot. And I mean a lot! Her SCIENCE classification as well as her [OS] icon come together to make her one of the most versatile personnel that the Deep Space 9 / Terok Nor crew has to offer to their comrades of the 23rd century. And her versatility shines through when you use her special download of a Classic Tricorder to give her ENGINEER, or an extra SCIENCE, or Geology or Physics whenever the situation calls for it. And it doesn't stop there! Add on a Classic Medical Tricorder to help give her back some of what she lost, and also a Classic Communicator so that the range of skills available to her are only as limited as the company she keeps! Just beware of that Unscientific Method, since her high CUNNING makes her just as vulnerable to this dilemma as she was before. Combos:
