Card Extra Boarding Party from Kim and Allen Gould (04/13/2001) |

Boy, those Kazon get all the luck. They're the first to get a way to use your opponent's transporters, first to get a way to ram other ships, and first to get points for swiping other ships. And to top it all off, they get it all on one card. First, we see the Kazon version of transporters ("Transporters? We don't need no stinkin' transporters"). Simply ram the target ship with your Kazon Shuttle (a "Boarding Pod"), and let your Kazon "welcoming party" climb aboard. No special skills, no nullifiable cards, no worrying about Barclay's Transporter Phobia. Now, what to do once you're on board? You could just slaughter everything in sight (and let's be honest - you probably will, just to use all those nifty hand weapons you brought along.) But other affiliations do that already. The Kazon are much more efficient. Before you pick the fight, steal one of their hand weapons (or any other Equipment card handy) to score 10 points. And after you've killed everyone on board, use another copy to download Commandeer Ship to score 20 more points (and get a nifty new ship with flapping warp nacelles. ;) And if things should go sour (or you just need to beam over that Computer Skill personnel to commandeer the ship), you can use your opponent's transporters. Not bad for a bunch of people the Borg don't bother with. Combos:
