Karden offers an unusual selection of skills to a Kazon deck. Physics, Anthropology, and Biology form a nice mix that helps at both space and planet missions. His Honor is not too common among Kazon, his Navigation x2 is unparalleled, and he's one of only a few Youth personnel to be found in the entire Delta Quadrant. Since Karden was the first to form a good relationship with someone in the Federation, it is fitting that he be useful in a Federation deck. Just use The Kazon Collective to make this possible, and Karden will actually prove very valuable indeed, contributing three of the four skills needed for Heal Life-form, or pairing perfectly with Joseph Carey at Aftermath. He also works well with the Delta Feds who have a Non-Aligned icon. Pair him with B’Elanna Torres, and you'll need only more CUNNING to solve the big 45-point Investigate Quantum Singularity.
