Tuvok never made it easy on his opponents, and there's no reason you should either. The trick is of course knowing what cards are in your opponent's hand without Alien Probe. This can be easily achieved with Life-Form Scan, but sometimes, your opponents give themselves away: Did they just overhaul a ship with Spacedoor or Space-Time Portal? Discard a ship or personnel from hand for a sure hit. Seeding Chula: The Lights may likewise send personnel to hand where you can kill them before they have a chance to report again. Another great time for a game of Kal-Toh is when your opponent is using cards that return to hand. Abusing Reactor Overload? Throw away an incident and you may just get that card out of the picture. Your opponent won't enjoy having to discard their shape-shifter who just escaped death through Flight of the Intruder either. And are the Borg willing to give up A Change of Plans their Queen just sent back to the Collective's hand? With a good card recycling strategy (whether it's Ore Processing or Palor Toffs), you needn't fear losing your cards to the discard pile too much. There's little risk in getting rid of interrupts, for example. Simply seed Examine Singularity and discard Temporal Wake or Deactivation to Kal-Toh your opponent's card. Then you can download it whenever you need it. A copy of Bajoran Wormhole will do the same to Doorways. Combos:
