Card Extra The Kazon Collective from Michel M. Albert (04/20/2001) |

Yes, it's that other Delta Quadrant Collective! If you're a Kazon at heart, you'll certainly want to play with this incident for either of its four uses. Much like The Vidiian Sodality, it'll allow the affiliation to join forces with any other except Borg, supplementing the Kazon's necessarily small number of missions (they are one of the newer kids on the block, after all) with those of their allies as well as any Non-Aligned missions on the spaceline. This will prove most useful if the Kazon ever reach the Alpha Quadrant where there are no specifically Kazon missions. If they do remain in the Delta Quadrant (most likely), they won't fall prey to the Borg. Not only do the Kazon have massively powerful ships, but The Kazon Collective makes them immune to assimilation as well. Borg Cutting Beam, Talon Drone, Intruder Alert! Assimilate Starship/Counterpart, Borg Servo (who cares if there are no Cyberneticists around?)... All cards that won't steal any personnel or ships away from you. And though the Kazon have lost their homeworld (another plus when facing the Borg), they can still use this incident as a kind of Headquarters to report personnel for free. This set alone features seven different Majes, but only a few will allow for reporting. The best is, of course, Culluh with more than a half-dozen personnel in his Nistrim sect, but Jabin or Razik (of the Kazon-Ogla) can allow a couple of highly-skilled personnel to report for free too (including each other). Finally, you can play the incident on a powerful Warship directly, turning it into a roving Outpost. Alpha Quadrant field trips won't cut the Kazon off from their brethren, and it'll certainly cut down on travel in any quadrant. Combos:
