This dilemma has no effect on your ship or crew (other than "stopping" them) but can be pretty annoying nonetheless. If you don't have SCIENCE present, you have to discard all non-personnel cards in your hand and replenish your hand from your draw deck. While that's a pretty easy condition to meet under most circumstances, redshirting with just any handy personnel can get you in trouble, especially if you're playing a deck heavy on non-personnel and drawing extra cards with a strategy such as ore processing. Even with a full crew, an opponent's choice dilemma preceding it can be just as bad if you have only one SCIENCE.

Combos:

• Iconian Computer Weapon + Fire Sculptor: He'll have to show the cards he's discarding. "Melt" the most important one right away before he can Palor it back.
• Iconian Computer Weapon + a bad draw: Clean out a bad hand by hitting your own Iconian Computer Weapon with a deliberately unscientific Away Team.
