Card Extra Hull Breach from Evan Lorentz (04/25/2001) |

This nasty little space dilemma is just about as sure a kill as they come. Unless an Environmental Suit is present (and as of the Voyager set, no such card has been printed), it kills one non-android personnel. The Hull Breach also grabs someone conceptually "in the same section of the ship" as the first victim, in the form of a personnel of the same classification (if one is present). Getting two kills is good enough. When they're the same classification, that's golden. You can try Hull Breach in front of lots of different wall dilemmas that require multiples of a classification you're hoping to suck out into space (or blow out, depending on your perspective). There's Maglock (requiring 3 OFFICERs) or Scientific Method (3 SCIENCE). Or, there's lots of dilemmas that call for multiple ENGINEERs, including Radioactive Garbage Scow and Gravimetric Distortion. For the opposite approach, you could set up a wall first, then use Hull Breach as a "filtering" dilemma of sorts to make way for a nasty finish. Getting 3 ENGINEERs to beat The Swarm will be tough if two were just lost in space (literally). Or how about The Cloud? It requires 2 MEDICAL and 2 ENGINEER, giving you two chances to randomly select personnel with Hull Breach that have something your opponent will need. Combos:
