The lure of the Gamma Quadrant has always been tempered - while the points are higher, so are the risks. It's hard to get to, and the Gamma Quadrant tends to be the home of a trigger-happy race like the Dominion. So why would the Ferengi, of all people, want to go there?

Money, of course.

The 75th Rule tells us that while sitting safe at home is nice, you need to get out into the universe to make the all-powerful profit. And this card will reward those Ferengi with Acquisition who dare to travel further for their money, by scoring an additional 10 points, or downloading up to 5 Latinum (handy for a myriad of things). Best of all, unlike the Explore Gamma Quadrant objective, you don't have to return to your outpost (always a touchy matter with Revolving Doors and Jem’Hadar Warships.)

Combos:

  • 1st Rule of Acquisition + Quark’s Bar + Ferengi Conference + multiple 75th Rules of Acqusition: Seed the 1st Rule and the Conference. Use the 1st to get a Nagus. Play him to Quark's Bar, and flip Ferengi Conference to download a 75th Rule to as many Acquisition personnel as you want. The perfect way to outfit a Gamma-travelling crew.
  • 75th Rule of Acquisition + Hanok: The Dominion can use this Rule as well. Have Hanok special download the 75th Rule to himself, and score an extra 10 points in the Alpha Quadrant.
