The D'Kora marauders represent the mainstays of the Ferengi fleet and the Kreechta, as a "named" ship, adds just that little bit more to make it extra special. Like most major capital ships it has a 3-man staffing requirement and the standard tractor beam. It also has a holodeck - but more of that in a moment. The Kreechta scores over the generic marauder in the weapons department - with 9 weapons it's a ship to mix it with the big boys, especially with the magnificent Bractor at the helm (boosted by Captain’s Log), and a Plasma Energy Burst tactic. Use it as the flagship for your marauder armada. Okay, so what is one to make of a holodeck?? With no Ferengi or non-aligned holograms (for now at least), it seems like a frivolous luxury item, but it can be useful in the game of bluff that is STCCG. As Brad DeFruiter is quick to remind me, this game is often won or lost in the seed phase where people tune their dilemma placement to their perception of their opponent's deck. So, pop out Tarchannen Study and make your deck look Borg-esque. Then amaze your opponent by bribing your way in with the Kreechta, an ENGINEER, and an IP Scanner. They won't be looking for that.
