After serving on the rogue Equinox, Marla was quickly integrated into the Voyager crew. Strutting that kind of skills around, it isn't hard to see why she'd become a valued crewmember. No fewer than seven Voyager dilemmas are ENGINEER- or Physics-related, creating the need for an ever more all-around crew or away team. Missions such as Acquire Technology, Aftermath, Assist Cooperative, Prevent Annihilation, Reinitialize Warp Reaction, and Restore Victims (to name but a few) benefit considerably from Marla's expertise. Computer Skill is such a key skill that it's unthinkable to go without.

In the post-Voyager environment there are now at least four Transporter Skill-related dilemmas and seven missions that require Transporter Skill (not even counting Planet Hell where you'll need the skill just to beam up or down). Marla will satisfy that need nicely. Being a two-faced Equinox crewmember just provides you with more flexibility to include her in nearly every deck. She just slips on her NA suit and you're all ready to go! Use her in combination with your Sodality or Collective cards for extra mission variety. Or just to facilitate the use of Transporter Control Modules aboard your Kazon ships or facilities. With Home Away From Home in play, she reports for free to either the U.S.S. Voyager or of course the U.S.S. Equinox, which she also jacks up to an impressive 11 RANGE.
