From "Message in a Bottle", the Romulans get a fine addition to their ENGINEERing contingent. Unlike most Romulan ENGINEERs, Nevala has the classification rather than an easily lost skill, complemented by Navigation, Physics, and Astrophysics for the myriad Romulan space missions. Computer Skill x2 lets her run scans despite Scanner Interference, and even more important, allows you to download her to hand with Quark’s Isolinear Rods.

On top of her regular skills and respectable attributes, she has a special download for a Romulan PADD. Even Romulans, with their generally high native CUNNING, will welcome a boost when confronting a Flash Plasma Storm or stopped by Twisted, and it will also get you past an inconvenient Executive Authorization.
