Mot's Useless Card Review #58: Eyes in the Dark

The Interlink Drone is arguable the most valuable of all the Borg Drones. You'd have to be crazy not to use it. The skill sharing abilities provided by the Interlink Drone is the main way Borg scouts are able to overcome dilemmas, and also the best way to overcome dilemmas like Maglock and Shaka, When the Walls Fell, without spending an Adapt card.

The minor catch is, skill sharing is compulsory. Since the word "may" does not appear in the Drone's game text, any Borg present with a Communications-icon Drone will automatically share its skills with its hive.

All the better for a non-Borg player with Empathy on their ship. If you should get snagged up on a dilemma, play an Eyes in the Dark on your opponent's Borg ship. Every Borg on that ship has every regular skill on every Borg personnel in that hive. It doesn't matter which one you select randomly - you'll get to add a half dozen skills or more to help you overcome your obstacle.

Who'd have ever thought calling on the Borg for help would get such a dramatic response?
