Card Extra Six of Thirteen from Evan Lorentz (06/21/2000) |

The "tribble" expansion icon on this personnel might look just a bit out of place, but fans of the Borg affiliation aren't complaining. The Scout Drone shores up a number of weaknesses in your Collective, bringing you one step closer to perfection. First off, Astrophysics, though not in as high a demand as some skills, is not commonly found on Borg personnel. Having it here could prove quite helpful now and again. In counterpoint to that space-oriented skill is the planet-oriented special skill of being immune to Thine Own Self, a favorite trick of opponents trying to hinder objectives like Assimilate Planet and Assimilate Homeworld. No more losing scouts you won't ever be able to retrieve. But the Scout Drone's final skill is the one you'll most likely want him for. If he is present when your Adapt: Negate Obstruction is nullified, it is "reabsorbed" to the bottom of your deck where you can use it again. Instead of shutting your Borg deck down, an opponent with a fistful of Amanda Rogers cards can only delay your scouting efforts. This makes the Scout Drone an asset at a space mission, and vital at a planet mission. Combos:
