Growing up with the nickname "Smiley," I knew that I just had to write this card extra. The Mirror Universe Miles "Smiley" O'Brien became the Terran Rebellion's second leader after Mr. Sisko was killed. He stole the Defiant-class schematics, built a mirror Defiant, commanded it, and with help from our Rom, got Regent Worf to surrender. Smiley is one of the few Terran ENGINEERs. What a blessing in disguise! First, after using his special download of Construct Starship, he'll be able to download his ship, the Defiant, to a facility he's at. Second, with so few ENGINEERs in the Mirror Universe, he's such a help getting an undamaged Defiant to the Alpha Quadrant. Third, get him with one other ENGINEER aboard Deep Space 9 / Terok Nor and start ore processing without worry of Reactor Overload. Fourth, have him build a Terran Outpost. And the best part of Smiley being an ENGINEER? He'll always be one even with Fightin’ Words, unlike Captain Dax or Comm Officer Uhura. If your opponent starts Tribbling you in the Mirror Universe you can use Smiley's Transporter Skill to beam them away. Or use his skills to help solve Mine Dilithium and Disrupt Alliance. And when Smiley is in your crew when you hit "Pup," don't forget to nullify it immediately, since he is "any Miles" - that's something to smile about. Combos:
