Multidimensional Transporter Device from Kate De Stephen (12/01/2000)

You may remember that cylindrical object that slightly resembled a metallic coffee thermos that some of the Deep Space 9 / Terok Nor Mirror folks used to transport between universes. Well, here it is! Its use in game play keeps fairly true to the story line.

This card will be highly useful for your Alliance or Rebellion crews who want to do some exploring in the Alpha Quadrant and would like an alternative to using the Mirror Bajoran wormholes (in case one end gets closed). This is useful for getting some last minute mission solvers over to the other quadrant to lend a hand to your crew or away team. It can also be used quite effectively to stage multi-quadrant away team attacks on your opponent's personnel. Even though this equipment may only report to the Mirror or Alpha Quadrant, it may be used by any non-Borg affiliation.

Combos:

• Quark’s Isolinear Rods or Defend Homeworld + Bariel + Multidimensional Transport Device: This combo can get you a key Alliance personnel and a ticket to the Alpha Quadrant in play on your first turn.
• Multidimensional Transport Device + Hidden Fighter + corresponding planet mission in either Alpha or Mirror Quadrant: Get your crew over to the other side to do some missions and grab a ship in the process.
• Ultimatum + your Jem'Hadar brute squad + Bajoran Wormhole + Remote Supply Depot + Multidimensional Transport Device + your opponent's Mirror crew or facility in the Mirror Bajor Region: Use the first two functions on Ultimatum to download the Bajoran wormhole (Bajor Region anyone?), and a Remote Supply Depot (hmm, what equipment shall we download?) to zap your Jemmies over to attack the Mirror Quadrant.
