The Federation has always had some of the best MEDICAL personnel in the game. Beverly Crusher (Prem)? Solid. Julian Bashir? Cunning. McCoy? Good ol' fashioned medicine. But when you need the absolute best, you need the doctor.

Literally.

Start off with the usual "doctor skills" - MEDICAL, Biology, Exobiology. Double them all. This puts The Doctor on par with most of the other super-docs in the Federation. But while they've spent their lives gaining various multiples of those three skills, The Doctor's had time to pick up Music and Computer Skill as well, letting him take care of such nasties as Aphasia Device (even while under the effects of Tsiolovsky Infection), Garak Has Some Issues, and Harvester Virus one-handed. He can even Commandeer Ship (although you might want to take some muscle along to help - STRENGTH 5 isn't going to help when the Kazon come calling).

His photonic nature isn't even a handicap - he downloads his own Mobile Holo-Emitter, giving him free rein on planets or ships without Holodecks. And if he should happen to get whacked by Armus or the like, you can restart him next turn and keep on going.

So, what's the nature of your medical emergency?

Combos:

  • The Doctor + any Exobioloy + Cure Deadly Virus: Let your doctor spearhead an Away Team mission.
  • The Doctor + Doctor McCoy: Charge through MEDICAL dilemma combos like they weren't there.
  • The Doctor + Luther Sloan: Let Sloan reactivate your Doctor, no matter where he may end up.
