Card Extra Orb of Time from Allen Gould (08/03/2000) |
||
|
Used to be time travel was hard, arduous, and dangerous. The original Enterprise had to slingshot around a sun just to go rescue a few whales. Nowadays, there's so many people popping back and forth in time that Starfleet had to open a whole department just to deal with it. Seems like everyone and their Targ has a gizmo, gadget, or ancient relic to pop back and forth through the timeline. And now, you do too. The Orb of Time is the answer to all those decks that need to move back and forth through time, without sacrificing multiple draw deck slots to Wormholes or Temporal Vortex. With this one Orb artifact (and an [Orb] personnel to run it), you can bounce through time each turn. Borg players (who can use Orb Experience to give some counterparts the needed Orb icon) can now scoot back and forth to the Montana Missile Complex to get rid of those pesky humans. And decks planning on a lot of trips to Sherman’s Peak will be glad to have an easy way to return to Deep Space Station K-7 to pick up new personnel. Combos:
